Lets see if we can shed some light on some general health issues.
My friends say look at my 6 pack abs, I reply,
"You really have nothing over me I have 12 pack abs".
Life was good, then it all changed. I have developed type 2 diabetes from
that 12 pack of excess weight and lack of exercise and bad eating habits.
Finding out the hard way that I was not above and beyond the couch potato syndrome living my sedated
lifestyle of rich foods and lack of exercise.
It has caught up with me completely.
That all has to change now for my own health so I can start to maintain a healthy life style.

Walking for Total Body Health
I know "the word exercise", that dreadful word most of us love to hate.
On the other hand most of us seem to fall into a slump routine where the couch potato syndrome seem to
slip up on us.
If we were just to go for a brisk walk everyday for 20 - 30 min the change in how one would feel daily would
be greatly improved.
Take the stairs and not the elevator, get a bike, hike on nature trails, go canoing or simply get out for a
swim in the pool or at the beach with friends or family.
Even every second day will help greatly even if you can't commit to exercising everyday.
Low impact, high impact, it all helps.
Just give yourself a chance and don't allow the couch potato syndrome get your body and ego.
Do enough to get your heart pumping above the normal heart rate.
Make the effort to do it and stick to your guns.
You'll be glad you did and the rewards will even be greater.
Just a win-win situation.
You will see in just 4 days the difference in how you feel and in 2 weeks the
biggest difference in your overall feeling and how much more alert you are.

Well I would like to think you eat healthy but I know most of us don't.
Eat well and replace your fat diet with fruits and more veggies .
You know the word "Diet" is miss represented so much. In reality
it just means changing your eating habits.
You don't need to eat less just smarter.
Fast foods and restaurants have been over feeding us with
high fats foods that are rich fatty acids and high in salts.

I know so many of us have become so programed that this now

If it's not a rich salty tasting food we think it  is has poor flavor.
So lets grab the salt shaker and add it .... Well now we add it before we even taste the food to see if it
needs it .
That habit has to change so now I don't use the salt shaker at all and have now become attuned to the
real flavor of the food to the point I can taste the salts in the food.
Did you know you can eat a pound of vegetables and hardly hit 100 calories.
So eat as many as you wish! They also provide you with much needed fiber along with whole grains and
fruits and berries.
Whole grains are well known to reduce bad cholesterol and keep the digestive tract moving regular.
We can never have enough fiber in our nutritional arsenal.
Just remember a well balanced diet is key from all 4 food groups.
Wow just think real wholesome food to make you feel good and become more healthy.
So head down and support your local farmers markets and avoid processed foods as much as you can as
they tend to be high in salts and preservatives.
What a concept eh! "Real Food"!
